Due to the risk of electric shock, Amazon is recalling some of the power chargers packaged on the tablet. The call-

It says the affected kit is included in 7in-

This is the latest in a series of technology companies to announce the move.
Apple recalled its power charger adapter plug in January, and Microsoft withdrew the power cord from the Surface Pro tablet in the next month.
Amazon recommends that its customers charge the tablet by connecting to a USB cable on the PC while waiting to replace the part.
\"Customer safety is our top priority and we are proactive in providing free replacement of these power adapters with new adapters,\" the company said in a statement . \".
\"Power adapters sold in other countries and power adapters provided with Fire HD and Fire HDX tablets are not affected and do not need to be replaced.
\"The company has notified the UK trade standards office on this issue.
