The Galaxy S3 is new gem from the Samsung smartphone factory and it is loaded with high quality features and technology that makes it a standard handset in the market. With Galaxy S3, Samsung has come up with quirky design that comfortably fits in human hand. Ergonomics of this phone are soothing as nature elements. With flagship on Galaxy S3's 1 GB RAM, quad core GPU and CPU processing, Samsung has overshadowed the processing features of iPhone. The semiconductor incorporated in S3's is also smaller, thus Samsung has brought better technology altogether. Both of these phones have 8 megapixel camera and it is arguable which one has better features.

OS of both devices are good but S3 has direct call, S beam and smart stay kind of features that are not seen in any other phone. S-voice and Siri are voice controlled virtual assistants, and both are close in completion.

Memory capacity

iPhone lacks memory card slot thus maximum internal memory of 64 GB is not expandable. Galaxy S3 has inbuilt memory limit of 16 GB which is further expandable up to 64 GB.

Battery and Charging

The S3 has removable and replaceable Li-Ion 2100 mAh battery which can be charged with Standard USB cable charging and its charger, whereas new iPhone requires special power charger and USB cable charging is not possible. Power of battery is more in S3, so it can stay longer without requirement of recharge. Also, Samsung has introduced unique wireless charging technology for S3 which is not available with Apple's phone.

Other Features

In S3, Near-field Communication allows wireless transactions like payments. HDMI support enables this phone to cast videos and movies on a TV. Both of these features are not supported with Apple's phone. Moreover, downloading speed of Samsung Galaxy S3 46% in comparison of just 14.4 Mbps of iPhone in 3G HSDPA network.
