review: xperia l2 and xa2
With a range of phones under 350 euros, you may be worse than looking at Sony\'s two new products.
Xperia L2 and XA2 were announced at CES in Las Vegas on January, but have been listed on the Internet and stores here in recent weeks.
The price of XA2 is around 349 euros, which is a higher price of both, but it has a better range of features to justify this label. It has a 5.
2 \"although the aspect ratio of 16:9 is now a bit 2017, the full HD display is almost as good at this price as you will find.
The screen is clear and clean, the color copy effect is good, and the contrast is large.
This is not the most fashionable phone, still based on the old, outdated \"circular surface\" Xperia designed curved Xperia xz2.
It also has a plastic back that makes it look cheaper than some of its glass and metal competitors.
But if you\'re not picky about the look of your smartphone, that\'s not a problem.
Sony has been making a big fuss about its camera technology recently, which is no different from xa2.
The main camera has a 23 MP Exmor RS Sensor that can capture very good photos, although it is a bit difficult in case of insufficient light.
But, like the usual high quality camera software suite, there is plenty of room to process the images, which can be found in many recent higher versions
High end Xperias is built in.
It also features 4 k movie recording and 120fps slow motion video shooting.
The front is a Super 8 MP 120 degrees
Big enough to get everyone into the wide angle selfie camera of the photo.
Another selling point, according to Sony, is the audio system with built-in smart amplifiers, clear audio and clear bass.
Powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 630 chip, the device is powerful enough to do basic work and more work at a reasonable speed with 32 gb of storage and 3 gb of RAM.
It also packs a 3,300 battery, plus the efficiency of the processor, which is really good, but it\'s not a great job for use that lasts more than an average day.
However, the benefit of changing a larger battery is that XA2 looks a bit bulky than its predecessor.
Battery performance management can help you if needed, but there is no quick charger in the box.
There is a fingerprint sensor at the back, right under the camera lens, which will be ready for photos that are occasionally stained.
But the sensor itself works well and is very accurate.
All said it was a solid phone, reflecting its price in some areas, surpassing it in others.
There are many other options, such as Samsung Galaxy A5 or Huawei P Smart, but there are not many options in terms of specifications and performance.
There are four colors to choose from for Xperia XA2-
Silver, black, blue and pink.
But if you\'re looking for a bigger phone and want to go with the budget price tag (€229)
Of course, L2 is worth a look.
It has a bigger 5. 5\" HD screen (720p)
Image enhancement technology will attract video observers, although the LCD display is normal enough in general.
Like XA2, the design has nothing to write about, has angular edges, has a plastic back, has a thick feel, lowers the tone and makes it look a bit out of date
The biggest tradeoff can be found in the main camera, which has a more moderate 13MP sensor, but it can still do a reasonable job for the price point under the right conditions.
The selfie camera is similar to the one on XA2 with an 8MP sensor and a 120 degree angle.
Despite its high price, L2 now has a fingerprint sensor on the back of it, and its performance is up to an acceptable but not overwhelming standard.
The audio certificate for L2 is very good, which is definitely a reward at this end of the market.
It also comes with a very reliable 3,300 mAh battery and smart charging, as well as software that helps you better manage your power consumption and battery life.
The device runs on MediaTek\'s quad-core processor. MediaTek is not the most powerful, and the old version of Android-7. 1.
However, with the help of raising RAM to 3 gb, the user experience is OK, and there is a convenient --
The hand pattern of people with smaller fingers.
Overall, L2 is good but not much.
It certainly has some positive features, but there are other phones like the Moto G5 or Nokia 6 that offer similar appeal.
